I guess one of the BIG things y'all missed out on was my BIRTHDAY! It happened in September (I won't be giving out the date or year…don't need to date myself) but Yes, I am above the age of 14. One of the greatest things I got was a Selfie Remote Control. What was my first photo??
Like DUH.
I allowed Grits and my sister to participate in this one. They broke the focus.
With the switch in seasons, comes the inevitable joke about white girls and pumpkin spice things. "Those white girls are running to Starbucks to get that Pumpkin Spice Latte Shit." However, pumpkin lovers are not limited to white girls! No way. My brother and sister-in-law's dog came to stay with us, and Hampton brought three cans of Pumpkin with him! He didn't much like it….but you know what cute, round like a pumpkin thing did?
Which is a purrfect segue into….The next big birthday that y'all missed! It was my sister's! She turned 45. I got her the best present in the whole wide world. I can easily make y'all a copy…I still have the template. Send me 45 bucks. I'll even autograph it, because THIS BLOG IS GOING PLACES! She was happily allowed to wear it to Thanksgiving dinner. Definitely the best dressed one there!
As with every winter season, there comes a little lull between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Usually someone in our family starts a puzzle. My sister had done this puzzle in the next two photos THREE times. Once, she was almost done and Grits came on by, swished his massive tail and knocked it all to the ground. The second time, she had it on the floor to glue it together and Grits decided he didn't like it againnnnnn and rolled around in it. This third time, I decided to help her. This is what happened within two hours.
Probably looking at the puzzle wishing the cupcakes were real…I know I was.
Double transgression, on the puzzle with his tail ASWISHIN, and DRINKING MY WATER.
Last and certainly not least, was Christmas with Buster and Grits! They LOVE Christmas! They're the purrfect models for joy and gluttony :). It's Buster's 15th Christmas!! Isn't that nuts?! We knew Santa was going to be good for him. However, we didn't know how good until we started putting up the decorations. Weird fact about Bus, he LOVES the tissue paper we wrap our ornaments in. So naturally, I took some photos of him enjoying his favorite time.
Can you even see him?? #camouflage
#baifelicia, one less person to eat food = more food for Buster
Grits was not worried about his momma was falling off the ladder. He instead posed for this Hallmark worthy picture. I wonder if National Geographic gives out awards for amazing cat photos. I think I would win. I would shout out to Grits…buy him some goooooood cat nip. (Don't worry, Sis was fine…She just had to spend Christmas in a body cast. I ate her chocolate)
Last BUT CERTAINLY not least, is one of my favorite holidays. New Years Eve. I Love it. It's crazy to think about, a whole new year. A whole new year I can clog y'all's newsfeed with blog updates!! HELLLLLL YEAH! I had one of the best NYE celebrations this year in Pawleys Island. It was fantastic. I was surrounded by some of my bestestestest friends. We all met on a Catluvers website.
Phew! That apple juice was strong that night :)
However, one of the best moments came earlier in the week, when I discovered one of my great friends had a great love for Crocs too!!! She has always kinda been standoffish about them, but she admitted to me that it was because she was scared she would steal them if she ever touched or tried them on. I was like just go ahead…you can hold them for a minute, see how you feel. I trust her implicitly otherwise I would never have allowed someone to hold my Crocs like this.
Never smiled so big in her life.
Oh man. Have we CATGHT up or what??? I'll try and be better about updating this God's gift to Blogspot as long as y'all promise to keep lovin' Cats and Crocs!
Cats Out,
